Getting there and back
The monument and visitor center are on Christopher Street between Seventh Avenue and Waverly Place. Christopher Park’s accessible main entrance is on Fourth Street. Route the visit to the entrance you need, then save the return to your hotel.
Before you book
The monument and visitor center are free and require no admission pass. The visitor center is normally open Tuesday through Sunday; check NPS alerts and the program calendar before travelling.
If plans change
On a day the visitor center is closed, the outdoor monument and park remain a separate visit subject to park hours. If rain rules out the walk, move the historical visit to an open day instead of assuming the indoor center is available.
